When applications have been accepted this is where they are moved to. The area all sorted by group so can be easily accessed by Hogwarts Darkest Hour members.

Every character has a past, regardless of how clean (or in some cases dirty) that past may be. This is where all character interactions can be found and everybody can see just what has gone on in everybody's past.

If you have an idea for a plot that involves your char but doesn't directly affect the site plot post it here and see who wants to be involved.

If you have a major plot idea that could affect the site plot you have to run it by an admin first.

Here at Hogwarts Darkest Hour we want everybody to be active. This is where you post when you're looking to get active with your character. You don't have to have a specific plot in mind, it can just be to see if anybody wants to RP with your character.

Although people love to read the juicy gossip that Rita Skeeter throws their way everybody is praying that their life's story is not that days topic.

This is where all character's can send owl messages to one another. Remember all threads in this board are closed since messages are delivered between two people, not more.

Potions is an exact class and if you have plans to goof off this probably isn't the right class for you. If you think the Headmistress is tough wait til you meet her husband who's in charge of this class.

This class was not part of the Hogwarts curriculum when Dumbledore was it's Headmaster but the Dark Lord and the Headmistress feel it's an important class for the students to learn.

Tickle the pear in a painting of fruit and it giggles before becoming a door handle. Opening the door takes you to the kitchen where you can find any kind of snack your heart could want.

These corridors are littered with so many empty rooms that few remember what their original purposes were. Course the professors have found new uses for them and more often then not some poor student is getting tortured down here.

These corridors will lead you to potions class, the dark arts class and if you know how to find them the Slytherin common room, the Hufflepuff common room and the kitchens as well.

Step in through the large oak double doors and into a room with high ceilings and doors leading to different rooms and the corridors.

The Great Hall is a large room with an enchanged ceiling to look like the sky outside. There are five tables, one for each house and one up front for the staff to sit at.

It's the room where the first years wait to be sorted at the beginning of the term. During the rest of the year it's just a small empty room that doesn't see too much use.

This room holds the four hourglasses that show how many points each house has.

The dark arts are a form of magic that not many people know. Still it's always a good idea to know how to defend yourself and if you want to be able to know how to defend yourself against the dark arts then this is the class for you.

The Dark Lord wanted this class taken off the class list when he put the Headmistress in charge but she refuses to allow anybody to say that her students aren't as educated as Dumbledore's. The Headmistress may add class to the curriculum but she nevers takes any away.

Curious about the way muggles live and how they can make do without magic? Then this is the class for you.

Want to know about the history of the magical community? Take this class and you'll get to learn all about the wizarding worlds past.

Interested in Ancient Runes and what you can learn from them? Then take this class to learn how to decipher them.

This used to be a functioning girls bathroom until a couple years ago when Myrtle mysteriously died. She has since claimed it as her own and few girls venture in there since Myrtle has a habit of overflowing the sink and toilets.

One of these corridors leads to a stone gargoyle that is the secret entrance to the Headmistres' office. All the rest lead to empty rooms

Interested in learning how to do basic and more advanced charms? Then this is the class for you.

There are plenty of corridors on the third floor. One of them even holds the humpbacked witch that guards the secret passage to Hogsmead.

If you want to see all the old awards or the gallery housing old suits of armor then these are the rooms for you.

If you need medical attention then here is where you would come.

Want to learn to transfigure smaller objects? Hope to some day become an Animagus? This class will help you with either of those.

Need help with essays or reports for your classes? This is the best place to come for books on nearly every subject imaginable.

These corridors lead to the the library, transfiguration and other empty rooms.

Interested in the magical properties of numbers? Then this is the class for you.

These corridors lead to different empty rooms and to the Arithmancy class.

Here is where guys can make a quick stop if they don't have the time to go all the way back to their common rooms.

These corridors lead to the boys bathroom and loads of empty classrooms that aren't being used for any subjects.

Want to be able to see what's going to happen in the future? Then you should be taking this class.

These corridors lead to Divination and other empty rooms.

It doesn't matter what you need or want. If you happen to pass this room and need it bad enough then the room will provide it for you.

If you want to learn about the different stars and constellations, then this is the class for you.

The Headmistress of Hogwarts School can be found here by students and staff alike.

This is where student owls and school owls are kept. If you need to send a letter this is the place to come.

Do you want to learn about the magical properties of plants? Then take this class.

Do you want to learn about the different magical creatures of this wizarding world then take this class.

This is the class for you if you want to learn to fly or just perfect the lying skills you already have.

This is where all the house teams come to practice and compete for the Quidditch house cup.

The forbidden forest, the lake and the whomping willow will be found here.

The streets of Hogsmead are lined with shops that the students of Hogwarts like to spend time in.

This is where all the homes of wizards and witches who don't reside at Hogwarts can be found.

Located in Little Hangleton, the Riddle mansion is the secret headquarters of the Death Eaters. Although it is possible to find the Dark Lord here, it's best to arrange a meeting with him since he actually lives in his wife's ancestral home with their children. That locations is kept a secret with only a few people knowing how to find it since the Dark Lord doesn't want to put his family in danger.

This is the former home of the powerful pureblooded Black family. Now the secret headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, Sirius Black still lives here in hiding.

This is the world on the other side of the Leaky Cauldron. Welcome to Muggle London where cars are driven and electric lights are used.

Diagon Alley is lined with shop holding anything a witch or wizard could need in life.

Knockturn Alley shops hold the darker and the more dangerous objects that are known to the wizarding world. Careful when you're walking through here since you never know who you'll meet.

Located in London the Ministry of Magic is located below the city itself.

St. Mungos Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries is where all witches and wizards outside of Hogwarts go to heal their wounds and sicknesses.

This is the thread graveyard. It is where all threads (completed and/or dead) will be moved to at the end of every term.

This board is where members of HDH Staff go to discuss things about the site to help make it run smoother and just all around make different types of improvements.
